HEALTH TEACHING ON FAMILY PLANNING & SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT

The group was divided into 4 teams. Each team was assigned into different puroks to do health teaching. Each team is composed of a pair of members. The first team was assigned at purok 1 with Hon. Carillo and a BHW, Ma’am Carina. The second team was assigned at Puroks 2,3 and 4 that were grouped together at the barangay hall. They were with Hon. Buenafe and a BHW, Ma’am Elisa. The third team was assigned at Purok 5 and 6 with Hon. Parami, Hon. Villalas and a BHW, Nanay Sabel. The last group was assigned at Purok 7 with Hon. Sugabo and a BHW, Ma’am Inday. Each group started off with a pretest on Family Planning wchich includes its importance, benefits, types (natural, artificial & permanent) and efficacy. Then, a post test was given for evaluation. The lecture on solid waste management was about segregation of different wastes and colors of receptacles for each type. It was more on orientation on waste segregation. A pretest and post test was also given for assessment and evaluation.
