Presentation to the Barangay Council

After the 2-week extensive and strenuous household survey at Barangay Camul, Tampilisan, ZDN, the group finally came up with the results that were presented to the barangay officials of the community. The council is spearheaded by the barangay captain himself, Hon. Pelagio Trinidad who was accompanied by the SK chairman Hon. Rea Casipong.

The presentation was conducted last July 11, 2018 at the Camul Barangay Hall which started at around 8:30 in the morning. Everyone in the group was present during the event and was backed by the Municipal Health Officer of Tampilisan, Dra. Carmel Mathilda Ladeza. The said event was steered by the group leader, Lorenz Aldrich Guevara who was assisted by Danina Eunice Chavez in interpreting the results that were shown in pie charts and graphs.

The group came up with 8 identified problems that were identified through the survey conducted. From the results, the problems were ranked by the group according to the criteria of problem prioritization/ranking by Maglaya. The problems were ranked as follows:

1. Improper Waste Disposal

2. Water Sanitation

3. Unvaccinated Dogs

4. Health Seeking Behavior

5. Vices

6. Health Station

7. Road

8. High Blood Pressure

Subsequently, the process of ranking the problems identified by the group including its computation was explicated to the barangay council by Yasmin Macabada. The table of the criteria and its scoring was likewise flashed in a powerpoint presentation. The council was then informed that the said criteria will be utilized by the community in the upcoming Barangay General Assembly for their personal prioritization of identified problems. The presentation ended successfully through the help of everyone present.
