- 187 IDENTIFIED CASES OF HYPERTENSION
- 139 (74%) UNCONTROLLED CASES OF HPN
- 95 (51%) CASES OF CLASS I HPN
- 54 (29%) CASES OF CLASS ii HPN
- 38 (20%) DIAGNOSED CASES BUT WITH BP <140/90MMhG

GENERAL OBJECTIVE:
​
reduce number of hypertensive individuals from 74% -25% by the year 2021
​
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
1. improve CASE FINDING AND MONITORING SCHEME
2. IMPROVE REFERRAL SYSTEM
3. PROMOTE MEASURES TO CONTROL HYPERTENSION

Activities:
- house-to-house hypertension case finding
- assessment of knowledge of bhws on hypertension
- mass bp taking during hypertensive consultation
- hypertensive consultation day with dr. ladeza
- health teaching to hypertensive patients
- release of hypertensive monitoring cards - launch of zumba sessions
- proposal of future plans for bantay altapresyon program
- distribution of monthly medication and bantay altapresyon passport
- endorsement of new bp apparatuses to the bhws
- establishment of 3 bp stations
- training of BHWs and bp patrolers
