High Number of Unvaccinated Dogs
CUES:
out of 289 households;
51.5% (149 out of 289 households) owned pets
80% (120 out of 149 households) owned dogs
58% (130 out of 226 dogs) has no history of prev vaccination
27 cases of dog bites (2012-2018) 16 dog-related road accidents (2004-2018)

GENERAL OBJECTIVE:
to increase the number of vaccinated dogs from 42%- 70% by year 2021
​
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
​
1.) Increase their knowledge on proper ecological waste disposal
2.) Increase number of households practicing segregation from 43.9% to 90% and backyard composting from 44.9% to 70%
3.) Establish barangay solid waste collection system and policies on ecological solid waste management

- MEETING WITH DEPT. OF AGRICULTURE ON MASS VACCINATION AND REGISTRATION
- CREATION OF MASTER LIST FOR DOGS, CATS AND PET OWNERS
- FORMATION OF ANIMAL HEALTH BOOKLET
- HEALTH EDUCATION ON RABIES AND RESPONSIBLE PET OWNERSHIP IN COORDINATION WITH DA
- LOBBY FOR THE CREATION OF A NEW BARANGAY ORDINANCE ON RABIES CONTROL
- 100 dogs were vaccinated by the department of agriculture of tampilisan
- distributed animal health booklet, tags and collars to pet owners of vaccinated dogs
